IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF PITTSBURG COUNTY STATE OF OKLAHOMA IN THE MATTER OF THE APPROVAL OF MINERAL DEEDS BY RESTRICTED INDIAN HEIRS OF JEFFERSON SILMON, FB CHOCTAW, ROLL NO. 12822; IKE SILMON, FB CHOCTAW, ROLL NO. 12821; and MILLIE POPE, FB CHOCTAW, ROLL NO. M-416, all deceased. Case No. FB-2016-1 NOTICE OF HEARING PETITION AND APPROVAL OF DEEDS On the 10th day of June, 2016, Terry Allen Effinger and Norma Gafford, restricted Indians of not less than one-half (1/2) blood of the Five Civilized Tribes, filed their verified Petition herein, praying for the approval of executed Mineral Deeds conveying their interests in and to all of the oil, gas, coal, water, and other minerals in and under and that may be produced from the following described lands: NE/4 NW/4 and NE/4 SE/4 NW/4 of Section 8, Township 2 North, Range 14 East, Pittsburg County, State of Oklahoma; S/2 SE/4 NW/4 and NW/4 SE4/ NW/4 of Section 8, Township 2 North, Range 14 East, Pittsburg County, State of Oklahoma; and Lot 3, the East 20.74 acres of Lot 4, SW/4 NE/4, and S/2 NW/4 of Section 2, Township 7 North, Range 18 East, Pittsburg County, State of Oklahoma. to George Effinger, Jr. and for a hearing upon said Petition. The consideration for these deeds will be for love and affection and other consideration as it is a close family transaction. Said Petitioners further pray that the said Mineral Deeds be approved without competitive bidding and it appears to the Court that said Petition is in order and should be set for hearing without competitive bidding. Said Petition is set for hearing on the 10th day of August, 2016, at 10:00 A.M. at the Pittsburg County Courthouse in McAlester, Oklahoma, and the same being one of the days provided for the confirmation of such conveyances, at which time said conveyance will be presented to the Judge of said Court for approval and at which time and place any person may appear and show cause, if any they have, why said Mineral Deeds should not be approved without competitive bidding. /S/ TIM MILLS, JUDGE OF THE DISTRICT COURT Peary L.
