ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids for the 2016 Seminar/Training Center Addition and Renovation for Kiamichi Technology Centers, McAlester, Oklahoma, will be received in the Board Room @ KTC, Wilburton, Oklahoma, until, 2:30 P.M., September 6, 2016. The project will consist of the renovation of the Seminar Center, and new Training Center at the McAlester Campus for Kiamichi Technology Centers. Bids shall be addressed to: Ms. Shelley D. Free, Superintendent, Kiamichi Technology Centers P.O. Box 548-1004 Highway 2 North, Wilburton, Oklahoma 74578 and will be publicly opened and read in the Board Room, Kiamichi Technology Centers, Wilburton, Oklahoma, at 2:30 P.M., September 6, 2016. Any bids received after closing time will be returned unopened. There will be a pre-bid conference on August 24, 2016, starting at 10:00 A.M., at the McAlester Campus. All Contractors and Sub-Contractors interested in the project are invited and encouraged to attend. A Cashier's Check, a Certified Check, or a Surety Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total maximum bid amount, including the alternates, shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. Deposits will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond and Warranty Bond each for 100% of the contract amount will be required. It is intended that all work will be performed under a single contract as stated in the Bid Documents. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all bids. Drawings and Specifications may be obtained at the office of Wynn Associates, 215 E. Choctaw, Suite #128, McAlester, Oklahoma 74501, by persons interested in bidding as listed above, upon payment of $300.00, for each set, which is not refundable. Drawings and Specifications will be made available on a CD for $35.00, or can be emailed at no cost. The word "Owner" as used in all of the documents included within this Invitation to Submit a Proposal for Construction means and denotes Kiamichi Technology Centers, Wilburton, Oklahoma and the obligations and liability shall be solely and exclusively that of Kiamichi Technology Centers, Wilburton, Oklahoma.
