RELIEF SOUGHT: WELL LOCATION EXCEPTION FOR THE LEHNHARD 1H-7XX WELL (PART OF A MULTIUNIT HORIZONTAL WELL) LEGAL DESCRIPTION: SECTIONS 7, 18 AND 19 TOWNSHIP 5 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST, PITTSBURG COUNTY, OKLAHOMA CAUSE CD NO. 201504817-T SECOND AMENDED NOTICE OF HEARING TO ALL PERSONS, OWNERS, PRODUCERS, OPERATORS, PURCHASERS AND TAKERS OF OIL AND GAS INCLUDING XTO Energy, Inc.; 4-JW, Ltd.; Eddie Harper; Fairfield Energy, LLC; Ivy Energy, Inc.; Jim Wetwiska; Mary Beth Anis; Mary Thetford Stipe; Riverfront Exploration, LLC; Sinclair Oil&Gas Company; The Hefner Company; Matthew R. Rodgers; and all persons if living or if deceased, their known and unknown successors and all corporations existing, and if dissolved, its known and unknown successors and all persons having an interest in the lands covered hereby, particularly in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Applicant, Newfield Exploration Mid-Continent Inc. has filed an application in this cause requesting the Corporation Commission of Oklahoma to enter an order, to be effective as of the date of the execution thereof or as of a date prior thereto, as follows: (i) authorizing and permitting an exception to the permitted well location tolerances in the 640-acre and 640-acre horizontal drilling and spacing units formed in Sections 18 and 19, Township 5 North, Range 14 East, Pittsburg County, Oklahoma for the Woodford common source of supply, so as to allow, in part, a well, being a proposed multiunit horizontal well, to be drilled. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that Applicant requests that Order Nos. 485990 and 650930 be amended to permit a well to be drilled and produced at the following location: SURFACE HOLE LOCATION: 1,836 FEET FROM THE SOUTH LINE AND 1,386 FEET FROM THE EAST LINE OF SECTION 19, TOWNSHIP 5 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST, PITTSBURG COUNTY, OKLAHOMA FIRST PEFORATION: 2,602 FEET FROM THE NORTH LINE AND 621 FEET FROM THE EAST LINE OF SECTION 19, TOWNSHIP 5 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST, PITTSBURG COUNTY, OKLAHOMA MD - 10,250' TVD - 9,939' SOUTH LINE OF SECTION 18/NORTH LINE OF SECTION 19: 0 FEET FROM THE SOUTH LINE AND 549 FEET FROM THE EAST LINE OF SECTION 18, TOWNSHIP 5 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST, PITTSBURG COUNTY, OKLAHOMA MD - 12,868' TVD - 9,675' LAST PERFORATION: 476 FEET FROM THE NORTH LINE AND 511 FEET FROM THE EAST LINE OF SECTION 18, TOWNSHIP 5 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST, PITTSBURG COUNTY, OKLAHOMA MD - 17,707' TVD - 9,127' BOTTOM HOLE LOCATION: 2,141 FEET FROM THE SOUTH LINE AND 419 FEET FROM THE EAST LINE OF SECTION 7, TOWNSHIP 5 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST, PITTSBURG COUNTY, OKLAHOMA MD - 20,335' TVD - 9,017' The entire length of the lateral has been cemented such that the perforations are isolated from the beginning and end point of the lateral in order to protect the correlative rights of the offset units. That Order No. 485990 established a 640-acre drilling and spacing unit for the Woodford common source of supply underlying Section 19, Township 5 North, Range 14 East, Pittsburg County, Oklahoma which order requires that the well be located no closer than 1,320 feet from any unit boundary. That Order No. 650930 established a 640-acre horizontal drilling and spacing unit for the Woodford common source of supply underlying Section 18, Township 5 North, Range 14 East, Pittsburg County, Oklahoma. For the Woodford common source of supply such order requires that the completion interval of a horizontal well drilled in a horizontal well unit shall be located not less than 165 from any north/south unit boundary and not less than 330 feet from any east/west unit boundary. The “land sections adjacent to the area within the location exception” requested herein in Sections 18 and 19, Township 5 North, Range 14 East, Pittsburg County, Oklahoma in regard to the subsurface location tolerance areas described above are Sections 8, 17, 20, 29 and 30, Township 5 North, Range 14 East, Pittsburg County, Oklahoma. The other “land sections” surrounding Sections 18 and 19 are Sections 7, 12, 13, 24 and 25, Township 5 North, Range 13 East, Pittsburg County, Oklahoma. The following is the operator of offset wells towards which the location exception is moving: OFFSET WELLS, OFFSET LOCATION, OPERATOR Million 1-8 NW/4 Section 8-5N-14E, Pittsburg Newfield Morgan 1H-17 SW/4 NW/4 Section 17-5N-14E, Pittsburg Newfield That the Applicant be permitted to drill and produce said well at said location for the Woodford common source of supply without any downward allowable adjustments and designate Applicant or some other party as operator. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this cause will be heard before an Administrative Law Judge on the Initial Hearing Docket at the Corporation Commission, Eastern Regional Office, 440 S. Houston, Suite 114, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74127 at 8:30 a.m. on the 15th day of August, 2016 and that this Second Amended Notice be published as required by law and the rules of the Commission. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that in the event this cause is uncontested, the Applicant, its representatives, witnesses and other proponents of the Applicant may appear and testify by telephone. The cost of telephonic communication shall be paid by the person or persons requesting its use. Interested parties who wish to participate by telephone shall contact the Applicant or Applicant's attorney, prior to the hearing date, and provide their name and phone number.
